Packing Slip Requirements
A packing slip is a document that is included in a shipment to provide information about the items that are being shipped. It is important to include all of the necessary information on the packing slip so that the recipient can easily identify and verify the contents of the shipment.
Here are the essential elements that should be included on a packing slip:
- Company information: This includes the company name, address, and contact information.
- Order information: This includes the order number, order date, and shipping address.
- Itemized list of products: This should include the product name, quantity, and SKU number for each item in the shipment.
In addition to these essential elements, you may also want to include the following information on your packing slip:
- Tracking information: This will allow the recipient to track the status of their shipment.
- Special instructions: If there are any special instructions for the recipient, such as leaving the package in a specific location, you can include them on the packing slip.
